Notre organisation œuvre pour le renforcement de la présence numérique des langues locales congolaises et des communautés sous-représentées dans l’écosystème Wikimedia.

Nous intervenons désormais dans cinq villes stratégiques : Kinshasa, Matadi (Kongo-Central), Mbujimayi (Kasaï), ainsi que Goma et Lubumbashi dans la partie Est du pays, représentant les quatre principaux groupes linguistiques : lingála, kikôngɔ, tshiluba et swahili.

Notre plan d’action est structuré par trimestre afin d’optimiser l’impact contextuel et stratégique de chaque programme.

Faible rétention des contributeurs

Défi : engagement initial élevé mais difficulté à maintenir l’activité sur le long terme. Réponse : mentorat continu, programmation trimestrielle régulière, responsabilisation communautaire et création de noyaux locaux solides dans chaque ville.

Accès limité à Internet et aux outils numériques

Défi : fracture numérique affectant certaines communautés. Réponse : partenariats à voir avec ISOC RDC pour l’accès à la connectivité, formation en présentiel dans des hubs locaux, mutualisation des ressources techniques.

Sous-représentation des langues locales

Défi : faible visibilité numérique des langues locales. Réponse : campagnes dédiées (WikiForMotherTongue), développement via IncubatorLab, encouragement à la production de contenus sous licence libre.

Trimestre 1 (Juillet – Septembre) WikiMolakisi & JournalistTrainer

WikiMolakisi cible les organisateurs locaux afin d’intégrer les projets Wikimedia dans les pratiques pédagogiques.

JournalistTrainer forme les journalistes et professionnels des médias aux standards de vérifiabilité, aux licences libres et à la contribution responsable.

Approche : partenariats institutionnels, cycles de formation structurés, mentorat. Objectif stratégique : améliorer la qualité des contenus et recruter des contributeurs qualifiés sur le long terme.

Trimestre 2 (Octobre – Décembre) Wiki100impact est une campagne-concours sur 3 mois axée sur des résultats mesurables en matière de création et d’amélioration de contenus et vise à renforcer la contribution aux données structurées afin d’améliorer la visibilité des savoirs congolais dans les bases de données mondiales.

Approche : campagnes orientées résultats, suivi des indicateurs d’impact, contribution ciblée. Objectif stratégique : accroître à la fois la quantité et la qualité des contenus.

Trimestre 3 (Janvier – Mars) WikiForMotherTongue (Wiki na monɔkɔ mua bísó) & WikiNkento

WikiForMotherTongue promeut la contribution en langues locales, notamment durant le mois international de la langue maternelle (février).

WikiNkento vise à réduire l’écart de genre en favorisant la participation des femmes contributrices.

Approche : mobilisation communautaire, valorisation identitaire, inclusion et leadership féminin. Objectif stratégique : lutter contre la marginalisation linguistique et les inégalités de genre.

Trimestre 4 (Avril – Juin) IncubatorLab (Pool Strategic)

Ce programme soutient les communautés linguistiques émergentes via l’Incubateur Wikimedia, le mentorat technique et la coordination régionale ou nationale.

Approche : incubation stratégique, renforcement des capacités locales, structuration communautaire. Objectif stratégique : assurer la durabilité et l’expansion des projets linguistiques.

L'équipe organisatrice est principalement composée de bénévoles expérimentés : contributeurs, formateurs et organisateurs d'événements, ainsi que des membres actifs de l'association WikiLinguila, qui ont déjà réalisé une grande partie des tâches. De plus, plusieurs membres et tant d'autres issus des quatre groupes linguistiques principaux dans nos trois villes stratégiques, à savoir la ville-province de Kinshasa, la ville de Matadi (chef-lieu du Kongo-Central), Mbujimayi dans le Kasaï et désormais Goma et Lubumbashi dans la partie Est du pays.

Nous avons des partenaires internes à Wikimedia et des partenaires externes pour atteindre nos objectifs de promotion des langues locales et de réduction de la fracture numérique. Ceci a été démontré durant notre première subvention lors de l'implémentation de nos programmes entre 2025 et 2026 et nous croyons faire encore plus dans un futur proche.
