8. What are your programs, approaches, and strategies? What are the challenges that you are trying to address and how will your strategies support you in addressing these challenges? (required)

We aim to strengthen Wikimedia in Thailand—especially Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikidata—through three strategies. To increase and diversify participation, we will hold more events beyond Bangkok and engage underrepresented groups. To enhance visibility, we will actively promote Wikimedia projects through social media and other online platforms to raise public awareness. To strengthen governance, we will improve our internal structures and coordination to ensure transparency and long-term sustainability. These approaches will help address the current challenges of limited diversity, low public recognition, and the need for stronger community structures.

11. Describe your team. (required)

Our core team consists of dedicated volunteers who lead and support Wikimedia Thailand’s activities. Manop Kaewmoracharoen (User:Manop) serves as the WMTH lead, coordinating overall strategy and implementation. Khanittha Chaiphan (User:KhanitthaAnnie), Pasagorn Waeson (User:Azoma), and Anantapong Kaewthong (User:Tvcccp) are board members who provide guidance, oversight, and support for program planning and community engagement. All team members currently serve in a volunteer capacity.

At present, there are no salaried staff, consultants, or contractors involved, and no positions are vacant. All named team members are aware of and informed about their engagement in this proposal.

12. Will you be working with any internal (Wikimedia) or external partners? Describe the characteristics of these partnerships and bring a few examples of the most significant partnerships. (required)

Internal partnerships: Wikimedia Thailand collaborates closely with the ESEAP Hub and regional affiliates to strengthen governance, share resources, and build cross-border collaboration. Our involvement in ESEAP governance and our role as host of WikiCon SEA 2026 reflect our commitment to regional cooperation and stronger connections within the Wikimedia movement.

External partnerships: We collaborate with key higher education institutions, including Chulalongkorn University and Chiang Mai University for WikiCamp, and have previously worked with Mahidol University. We also partner with organizations such as The Siam Society Under Royal Patronage, which supports our Wiki Loves Monuments campaign.
