مقدمة : تهدف موسوعة ويكيبيديا إلى تحسين الوصول إلى المعلومات الحرة الموثوقة مما يتطلب مقالات بجودة عالية تتصل فيها المقالات ببعضها البعض وتُسند المعلومات والبيانات إلى مرجعها. وجدنا في ويكيبيديا العربية أن المقالات بحاجة إلى صيانة كثيرة لتصبح مقالة مثالية تجذب القراء والمتابعين وربما المساهمين المستقبليين. كما نريد أن نحافظ على استدامة المساهمات في المقالات مما يجعلها أدعى لمزيد من التطوير لاحقًا. إن تحقيق هذا يتطلب تطوير المهارات التحريرية للمساهمين في الموسوعة العربية ولفت عنايتهم إلى شكل المقالة وصيانة الأخطاء فيها وإزالة قوالب الصيانة الكثيرة التي تحول دون وثوقية الموسوعة ومقالاتها.

ننوي رفد الموسوعة بهذه التحسينات والتغييرات عبر مسابقة منظمة وممنهجة تستهدف تشجيع المساهمين في ويكيبيديا العربية إلى مراجعة المقالات التي تحتاج الصيانة وعمل اللازم لها من وصلات ومراجع وتدقيق لغوي ونحوي وإضافة صناديق وصور وربطها بغير من النسخ اللغوية والمشاريع في ويكيميديا، وتمهد هذه المسابقة إلى مسابقة أخرى تستهدف مشروع ويكي اقتباس مما يدعم مجهودنا لدعم مقروئية هذه المشاريع وموثوقيتها.

لصيانة مقالات الموسوعة. يمتاز هذا اليوم المميز في ويكيبيديا العربية بتجديد النشاط وزيادة جودة المحتوى وتقديم الكثير من أبعاد مختلفة للمساهمة. يبدأ نشاطنا عبر تحديد التصانيف والمقالات ذات الأولوية لتقديمها للمتسابقين. سنقضي وقتًا في إعداد خطة متكاملة لتحديث وتحديد شروط المقالات وشروط المتسابقين وبناء قوائم حول أشكال التحرير المؤهلة في المسابقة وآلية التحكيم. ثم نبدأ بالترويج والإعلان للمسابقة عبر الميدان وقنوات التواصل الاجتماعي الخاصة بالمجتمع العربي. تستمر المسابقة 6 أسابيع ويعقبها التحكيم لمدة شهر. ننهي عملنا بكتابة ما تعلمناه من تجربة المسابقة ومشاركته مع المجتمع على مدونة الديف والمجتمع العربي.

مسابقة تحريرية على ويكي اقتباس: استكمالًا لهدفنا في تحسين مقروئية النسخ العربية من مشاريع ويكيميديا، نستهدف محتوى المنطقة العربية في مشروع ويكي اقتباس وبعث النشاط فيه وزيادة المساهمين فيه عبر مسابقة تحريرية. تبدأ المسابقة في شهر أغسطس 2025 بإعداد صفحة للحملة على برنامج المتابعة (dashboard)، يتبعها جلسة تعريفية حول الفجوة المعرفية في الاقتباسات على المشروع وجلسة لكيفية تحرير ويكي اقتباس، يتزامن مع هذا نشر المسابقة والحملة عبر ميدان ويكيبيديا العربية ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي ومباشرة مع المستخدمين. تستمر المسابقة لشهر ويتبعها التحكيم لأسبوعين ومن ثم إعلان النتائج.

بينما مسابقة ويكي اقتباس، فهي مفتوحة للجميع من شتى المشاريع ونسخها العربية وهي للجدد أيضًا، كونها تتوجه لجذب المتطوعين إلى هذا المشروع وتطويره.
