ウィキメディア・ムーブメントは、日本ではまだよく知られていませんが、図書館および図書館員はこのムーブメントにとても関係が深い存在です。そこで、10月に開催される日本最大の図書館イベントである図書館総合展 https://www.libraryfair.jp/ のブースとフォーラムに出展し、ムーブメントについての理解を対面およびオンラインで広めたいと考えています。また、この機会に連携が希薄だった関連グループの連携を強めたいと思います。

【対面】ブース出展では、ウィキメディア関連資料（歴史、世界での展開、プロジェクト等）の展示、ウィキペディア＆ウィキデータ編集のデモと講習、ウィキメディアアンケート、関連書籍販売等。フォーラムでは、「世界のウィキメディア・ムーブメント（仮題）」の講演あるいは関係者シンポジウムなど。【オンライン】ウィキメディア関連テーマの講演など。【連携団体】Wikimedians of Japan User Group https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedians_of_Japan_User_Group 、OpenStreetMap Japan https://openstreetmap.jp/ 、Wikipediaブンガク実行委員会 https://www.facebook.com/wikipediabungaku 、稲門ウィキペディアン会 https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/稲門ウィキペディアン会 。講師を含めスタッフにはボランティア参加を依頼し、遠隔地参加者のみ宿泊交通費を計上してあります。設営も簡素にし、最低限の機材や印刷物以外に費用をかけない計画です。
