Le fossé de genre sur Wikipédia ne fait que s'accroitre. En organisant cet évènement pour la célébration de la 10ème année de A+F nous essaierons de former et interpeller les contributeurs/trices sur la question de gender gap et la nécéssité de combler ce fossé

- 2 jours d'éditions sur Wikipédia ;

Je suis un formateur de longue halène, nous avons commencé avec un petit groupe à Kisangani, et à ce jour le mouvement s'etend dans plus + 5 villes du pays. J'ai un groupe local de contributeurs qui sera scindé en deux petits groupes : a. Le 1er petit groupe jouera un rôle dans la préparation de l'activité (avant projet) qui consistera à préparation la document de formation et le programme de formation, la documentation sur les personnalités choisies pour créer ou ameliorer les articles, la communication et la prise de photos

Le gender gap est de loin visible sur l'encyclopédie Wikipédia, ce travail restera focus sur la création de contenu sur les personnalités féminines de notre pays, voire même d'ailleurs, dans le souci de combler tant soit peu ce fossé. L'interpellation de la communauté sur la production de contenu sur le genre permetterait dans une autre mesure de s'engager à moyen ou long terme dans cette lutte de gender gap.

Les participants sont de tendances confondues et sont de la communauté locale qui nous accompagnent assez souvent dans la mise en oeuvre des activités du mouvement wikimedia. Les habitués nous seront une grande utilité dans l'accompagnement des nouveaux venus dans le club de contributeurs bénévoles. La communication par nos canaux de communication (réseaux sociaux, mailling list du groupe) nous aident à atteindre les participants et les engager aux activités. Pendant et après l'activité, nous développons l'approche de mentorat (les anciens accompagnent les nouveaux par un groupe de 2 personnes) et aussi les permanences des activités (fréquence : une fois le mois, ou après 2 ou 3 mois), et aussi nous invitons la communauté à continuer à travailler en solo pour un engagement personnel.

Comme Wikipédia couvre plusieurs domains de connaissances (pour ne pas dire tous les domains), nous ouvrons la porte à un grand public varié pour la production de contenu sur le genre féminin pour combler le fossé de genre sur Wikipédia, et nous l'offrons des atelier pour connaitre et se familiariser avec les techniques d'édition de Wikipédia. Nous utilisons les canaux de réseaux sociaux, les affiches et l'activité est également annoncée sur la page du Projet RDC dans sa rubrique Annonce pour faire part à la communauté.
