The 1Lib1Ref campaign is a global campaign which encourage Wikipedia editors and librarians to add one reference to Wikipedia. This is important to Fulfulde Wikipedia because most of the editors on Fulfulde Wikipedia have little knowledge about citation and referencing the Wikipedia articles and this is because majority of them are newly recruited and some learned to edit online. This resulted to having so many articles having no references and some having references containing errored templates. This campaign aims to recruit new volunteers as editors including librarians and also retrain the existing editors focusing particularly on adding references and citations to Fulfulde Wikipedia articles to improve the reliability and quality of the articles through the 1Lib1Ref campaign thereby promoting the credibility and verifiability of Fulfulde Wikipedia articles. This is the reason why I think Fulfulde Wikipedia is needing this attention in order to improves its credibility.

As I stated above, librarians will be recruited as part of the participants in this campaign. But before that, I will identify and enlist the key Fulfulde Wikipedia articles needing references this is to ensure smooth running of the campaign and to make sure that serve as a precautions against making unnecessary edits that may results to ruining the quality of well-sourced articles since there will be newly recruited editors involved.
- Awareness: I will organize two days awareness campaign which serve us the opportunity to visit libraries and archives, language departments in tertiary institutions as well as Fulfulde speaking communities.
- Trainings: I will organize a workshop/edit-a-thons on Wikipedia editing and citation. First workshop for introducing the participants to editing basics and the second session is for retraining and mistake corrections.
- Certificates and prizes: I will give certificates of participation to all the participants and prizes to top 5 editors as encouragement.

- Zahraswaty: As an experienced school teacher and Wikimedian who is about to reach three years of being a female wikipedia editor, I participated in over 8 online and in-person Wikipedia trainings honing my skills in editing, referencing and community engagement. I volunteer as a facilitator where I made presentations and speeches in Wikipedia edit-a-thons organized in my community. I also won several Wikipedia Editing Contests organized for Fulfulde Editors, most recent one is being the topper in Women Marathon Contest. My teaching career helps in shaping my crowd engagement, presentation skills and ability to build rapport with the audience.
- Ibrahim442: is an experienced male contributor and one of the community leaders in Fulfulde Wikimedia Community. His skills and experience in organizing similar campaigns will be of great benefit towards making this project a huge success.
- Zaynab05: is my fellow female colleague from Wikimedia Fulfulde Community, she has a strong editing and training expertise as she has been playing roles in various organized projects
- Hauwa ali umar: is another seasoned female contributor who has cultural and language competence in Fulfulde. She will help with training and support for participants.
- Apdoull: is another male experienced editor who will help with strategic guidance and technical support when it comes to this project.

The targets are librarians, educators, Fulfulde speaking community and members of Fulfulde Wikimedians Community Group. Google form will be created where particulars of the participants like name, email address, WhatsApp numbers etc will be collected. I will create a group and add them all making it a communication channel to reach out to all participants to encourage them attend the trainings and for any coming updates. In addition to this, the group will continue to be active even after the project, I will keep on urging them to participate in other campaigns, keeps contributing and engage them with other experienced editors.
