現在予定されているのは 各地域で、GLAM職員に対する講義、図書館でのイベントを含みます。これらのイベントでは熟達したウィキペディアンが今後現地にいなくても自発的にウィキペディアが編集できるようになるよな道筋を作っていきたいと思い、図書館のスタッフなどが編集に興味を持ってもらい、ウィキペディアの意義を理解していただくことが良い流れを生むと思います。

現時点では、このRapid Fundが承認されなければ、企画されているイベントは実現しません。Rapid Fundでお願いしたいのは旅費と宿泊費のみです。ですからRapid Fundが承認されて以降に、資金調達について具体化するという順序になります。 なお、各地のイベントパートナーが結果的に上手にほかの資金調達が可能になれば、このRapid Fundから使用する費用が減っていくこととなります。

福岡地域1:2イベントで参加者50人予定、WikiGap、”after-school care service”利用者 豊橋地域:2イベントで参加者20組40人予定、図書館にて情報リテラシーとウィキペディア講座、エディタソン 沖縄地域:2イベントで参加者50人予定、中学校にてウィキペディアとリテラシー、公共施設にてエディタソン 福岡地域2:2イベントで20人予定、教育機関にてウィキペディアとリテラシー、公共施設にてエディタソン 千葉地域:1イベントで20人予定、学校図書館スタッフ向け編集ワークショップ

これらのイベントはまだ内容が具体的ではなく、助成金による旅費が確定しないと細かい計画が立てられない現状です。 実現が確定した時点で、主催者側、使用施設、ローカルメディア、などでの宣伝を行う予定です。 2022年の福岡では、ローカルFM局でイベントの告知を行いました。
