Most of the campaigns held in Hausa communities involved engaging young participants. There are little participation from aged which at times can have more time to contribute since some of them are already retired. Furthermore, Hausa Wikiquote is a project still under incubator, with articles fewer than 1000, with few number of editors making contribution to the project. This project will aim towards encouraging more edits on this wiki and thereby engaging aged participants in contributing to Hausa Wikiquote.

We will organise both online and offline events, For editors to be appropriately advised on how to close the knowledge and content gap across different Wikimedia projects, the training is also scheduled to include two physical and online training/edithatons. 1. in person trainings: We will organise direct trainings for the local communities. 2. Online trainings: We will organise series of online trainings. 3. Inclusion: We will add them to our user group’s social media groups on Telegram and Whatsapp. 4. Contest: we will organise contest between participants to encourage contributions.

I am an experienced editor from Hausa community. I have helped organise many workshops and trainings and I also successfully organized mini grants. I will lead the event with the help of

User: Alameen Khalid200 editor with experience in working on Wikiqoute projects who is a volunteer and has helped in several Wikimedia projects in Hausa Community. He is a facilitator himself.

User: Sanusi Gado who has being a major contributor on Hausa Wikiquote will help us organise the event.

The target participants are aged people from 35yrs and above from Hausa communities. We will invite them and train them on how to edit and use Wikiquote as a tool for quotations. To make sure the project is sustainable, Following the events, attendees will sign up as members of the Wikimedia community, keeping them informed and promoting engagement in wiki events.

I want to get knowledge about managing and coordinating participants. How to efficiently fill in missing content on Wikipedia and related projects. I hope to get knowledge from participants to strengthen my community interactions and abilities that will increase editor contributions and the sustainability of new editors in various Wikimedia tactics. Also
