La deuxième édition de la campagne AfroCreatives WikiProject+Film, destinée à renforcer la visibilité du cinéma africain, et plus particulièrement togolais, sur les projets Wikimedia, où il reste encore peu représenté a été effective du 9 août au 6 septembre 2025, avec un lancement officiel en ligne effectué le 15 août et remise de prix et attestations aux participants le 27 septembre 2025. Quatre ateliers de formation en présentiel ont été organisés à l'espace American Corner de l'Université de Lomé, partenaire institutionnel ayant mis à disposition une salle pour accueillir les participants. Ces sessions ayant regroupé en moyenne trente cinq participants par session, ont permis d’allier théorie et pratique, offrant aux participants l’occasion de se familiariser avec la contribution sur Wikipédia et Wikidata. La campagne à permis de créer de nouveaux articles liés au cinéma, améliorer les articles existants en s’appuyant sur des sources fiables et en respectant les standards encyclopédiques, et à former de nouveaux contributeurs locaux à la traductions des articles; ceci dans le but de garantir une participation responsable et durable aux projets Wikimedia. L’approche participative, combinant démonstrations, exercices pratiques et suivi personnalisé, le partenariat avec American Corner offrant un espace d’apprentissage adapté, la communication régulière via e-mails, groupe WhatsApp et sur les réseaux sociaux, ainsi que la coordination locale par des wikimédiens expérimentés ont constitué des facteurs déterminants dans le succès de cette campagne et dans l’engagement soutenu des participants.

Grâce à la mise en œuvre de ce projet, nous avons pu approfondir notre connaissance du paysage audiovisuel togolais, en identifiant et documentant plusieurs acteurs et productions jusque-là absents ou peu représentés sur Wikipédia. Ce travail nous a permis d’améliorer le contenu existant en français et de créer de nouveaux articles pour ceux disposant de sources fiables. Par ailleurs, la traduction de certains de ces articles en langue éwé a favorisé une meilleure accessibilité des savoirs au public local et contribué à la valorisation des langues nationales sur les projets Wikimedia. Ces apprentissages nous serviront à renforcer nos futures initiatives de contribution multilingue et à encourager une documentation plus inclusive du patrimoine culturel togolais.

L’un des événements les plus surprenants de cette campagne a été l’engouement et la constance des participants tout au long des activités. Leur motivation a dépassé nos attentes. Plusieurs d’entre eux continuaient à contribuer ou à demander de l’aide même tard dans la nuit, partageant leurs brouillons d’articles pour relecture et amélioration. Cette implication spontanée a révélé un réel intérêt pour la valorisation du cinéma togolais et africain sur Wikipédia. Nous avons appris que lorsque les participants se sentent accompagnés et valorisés, leur engagement se prolonge bien au-delà des sessions en présentiel, ce qui renforce la durabilité de la communauté locale de contributeurs.

Les enseignements et résultats du projet ont été partagés lors d’une cérémonie de remise de prix, qui a permis de présenter les articles créés et améliorés, ainsi que les expériences des participants. Cet événement a favorisé les échanges entre contributeurs. Les photos de ces sessions ont été diffusé sur les réseaux sociaux de Wikimedia Togo afin d’inspirer et d’impliquer davantage la communauté.
