The change we are working to bring about is increasing the availability of human rights and environmental knowledge in the Anufo and Likpakpaanl languages on Wikimedia projects, while building sustainable and active language communities. Currently, speakers of these languages have very limited access to freely available information in their mother tongues, especially on critical issues such as climate change, biodiversity, pollution, and the human right to a healthy environment. This gap not only restricts knowledge equity but also weakens the ability of these communities to engage meaningfully in global conversations about the climate crisis.

As an experience grantee his expertise is crucial in the organization, mobilization and implementation of projects. Joseph Peter Yaw-kan, User: (Yaw-kan): Organiser for Anufo Language Wikimedians) - He is the co- lead and a patron of Anufo Language Wikimedians group - Chereponi and its sub group - Gambaga College of Education respectively. He is also a lecturer at the same college of education. His impact to this programme is enormous and the project will be impactful to not only the Anufo Language speakers. He will be responsible for organizing the Anufo people to participate in this project.
Njorliye John Moses, User: (Njorliye John Moses), (Logistics). He will be the logistics officer for this project. As a key executive member of Likpakpaanl Language Wikimedians community responsible for logistics, he will translate this experience to this project for its successful implementation.
Fatahiya Issah Abah, User: (Miss Abah): (Ladies Organisers). She will be responsible for organising the ladies at Gambaga College of Education and beyond to contribute significantly to the programme.

The project will target speakers of the Anufo (Chakosi) and Likpakpaanl (Konkomba) language communities. These groups are primarily located in northern Ghana (such as Chereponi and surrounding areas) and neighboring regions. Both communities have emerging Wikimedia groups but limited access to knowledge in their native languages, especially on human rights and environmental issues. Our participants will include existing Wikimedia contributors, new volunteers, students, teachers, and community activists who are motivated to promote knowledge equity in their languages.

Through this project, we hope to learn how to effectively expand human rights and environmental knowledge in underrepresented languages while building sustainable Wikimedia communities. Our learning will focus on the following key questions:
