Part 1: Project and impact

Les diiférentes activités mises en œuvre ont porté sur l’organisation d’ateliers de formation et de contribution aux projets Wikimedia, notamment Wikipédia, Wikiquote et Wikidata avec des femmes. Ces activités comprenaient des formations pratiques en présentiel et en ligne à l’édition, l’accompagnement des nouveaux contributrices, des événements de contribution collective (edit-a-thons) et un suivi régulier des participants après les sessions par le formateur et l'équipe organisatrice.

Les résultats obtenus se traduisent par une augmentation significative du nombre de contributions, incluant la création et l’amélioration d’articles et éléments Wikipédia et Wikidata ainsi que l'ajout de citation, la création et l'amélioration sur Wikiquote des autrices ivoiriennes. Le projet a également permis de renforcer les capacités des participantes, dont plusieurs contribuent désormais de manière autonome et continuent aux projets Wikimédia et ont adhéré à l'association Wikimédia Cote d'Ivoire. Aussi, notons que ces activités ont permis d'améliorer la visibilté de certains articles moins lu ou jamais vu.

We saw a lot of commitment from our new participants and this shows that the project goals are achieved and there is a need for continued activities.

We have published an article outlining the activity and its results.
