The project included training the new users, researching the information to make new articles about historical places of Moodubidire and generating QR codes to wiki articles to implement at the historical places by the members of Alva's Wikipedia Association. Edit-a-thons helped new editors to get well training and to discuss the collected data. As the new editors were students, even it helped them in their academic research

Part 2: Learning

You can recall these learning questions below: This project can bring awareness on the importance of preserving, protecting and restoring the historical Jain Monuments, old lakes and temples. It educates people about the historical significance of Jain monuments. After the implementation of QR Codes it is easy to access information of these assets to public domain through Wiki projects. This project provide hands on experience to students about the heritage structures by establishing and maintain a digital source and making youth to improve their history knowledge and to acquire more interest to understand the importance of history. The activities planned in this project can inculcate research temperament in historical domain
Once we started the project, it was very difficult to collect the data for articles. Searching for the available materials for reference was challenging. This might have helped the students to understand the importance of preserving the data of historical places. Once the information is colleceted students understood the historical significance of Jain monuments.
5. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities? This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences? (required)
As in the application mentioned, the project included 18 temples, 18 jain Basadis and 18 lakes. Unfortunately lakes were completely destroyed and there were no information available for reference. 18 temples were also had the same issue where the students could not collect data related to articles for reference

The project has not been completely done due to the changes in students' academic schedule. Even organizer also had some emergency medical issues. Thus none of the plans made to share the project results. Once it is completed definitely it san be shared with the community.
