Regional (more than one country in the same continent or region) Ghana ,Burkina Faso and Togo.

The Mooré people are primarily found in Burkina Faso, but also in Ghana and Togo due to historical migration and regional dynamics. The campaign is geared towards connecting contributors across these divide to contribute to the project through online engagement and training. This will go a long way to ensure a wide scope engagement to document information about the African innovators and change makers especially information about female innovators in Africa

6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

Africa has a population with 60% of its young people around the age of 25,. This demographic dividend presents a unique opportunity for the continent to tap into the energy, creativity and innovation of its youth to drive economic group and social progress and sustainable development. Based on this, some young African innovators are driving positive change across the continent, using technology, innovation, and activism to address challenges and shape the future. The change the community want to bring is to bridge the content gap between these young innovators especially information about young African Female change makers. 75% of the content to be increased and improved upon will be that of female that will also go a long way to bridge the gender gap between male and female information in mos.wikipedia.

The main challenges or problems we are trying to solve is to increase and shape the number of information about young African innovators more especially information about women in Africa by this campaign to build local knowledge related to the broader theme by shifting focus of action to wikimedia projects. In addition, we seek to improve the knowledge gap about women in general on Moore language wikipedia and in the region in a way the knowledge will be accessible to Moore speaking people at. Through this campaign, we hope to build the knowledge of participants and the public about female changemakers in Africa in Moore language that will serve as useful tools for local and indigenous communities to increase advocacy and to help bridge the information gap arising between male and female.

Document biographies of African innovators and changemakers more especially female innovators and works related to feminism in Africa. The main approaches to achieve this change is to advocate, recruit new editor, Increase skills of both new and existing editors and offer adequate guidance to increase or improve content about African innovators more especially female change makers in Africa.

Alhassan Alidu, User: Hasslaebetch: (Project lead) - He is a co-lead for Moore Wikimedia Community, an experience Master trainer and Event Organiser for Moore Wikimedia Community and has successfully organised most of the projects that led to the creation of the sub-domain (mos.wikipedia.org). Some of the projects he organised are : Rapid/Moore Wikimedia Community/TranslateWiki.net , Wikivibrance International Youth day (IYD) 2022 in Moore Wikimedia Community/Ghana, Moore Wikimedians Community/Wiki Loves Folklore 2023 in Ghana and many others. During the test wiki period, he volunteered as the administrator on the incubator ensuring quality edits.

Abdul Razak Issahaku, User: Raizkgh (Communications) - He is the communication and social media officer for Moore Wikimedia Communitty. As an experience communications and social media officer for Moore Wikimedia Community, His expertise is crucial in the organization, mobilization and dissemination of information to the target audience of the project. He has served as communication and social media experts for most of the projects ran by the community.

Abdul Fatawu Issaka, User: Abdul Fatawu352 (Trainer) - He is a co-lead of Moore Wikimedia Community and a master trainer for the community. His experience with be crucial to drive this campaign to a successful end. He will be the master trainer for this project.

Soumaya Issahaku , User: Nat1620. (Logistics) - Soumaya is the logistics officer for this project. She draws her experience from her current engagement in Moore Wikimedia Community as the logistics officer.

Yakubu Mohammed Awal, User: Siesy93 (Organiser) - He is an experience event organiser and would be the person incharge of event organisation on all physical engagement of this campaign, he will be responsible for all rentals of equipment and gadgets and also responsible for the acquisition of all materials needed for a successful program. Distribution of items to volunteers and all other engagement decided by the team.

The target participants will be the volunteers of Moore Wikimedia community members who are dotted across Ghana, Burkina Faso and Togo. Organisers will rely more on social media platforms to engage with participants on awareness of wikimedia, recruitment, training and assisting them to add quality contribution on the newly create moore wikipedia before and during activities. Participants will be encouraged to join all the social media platforms of the group or the community social media pages.

The social media platforms will be used to engage participants before and during the activities more because social media platforms are the fastest ways to reach participants quickly. People now adopt social media as their daily source of information. It will be good to harness that opportunity to follow up with participants through social media and phone calls to ascertain their progress.

We hope to learn what passion inspire participants to this project. We hope to learn the challenges that hinders participants contributing to the free knowledge. We hope to learn how user friendly the moore wikipedia is since this is the first time we are embarking on a project since its creation in September 2024.
