Vogliamo mostrare i risultati delle donne in modo che possano fungere da modelli di ruolo e cambiare la percezione di Wikipedia e di altri progetti Wikimedia, in particolare da parte del personale docente. Le sfide principali sono 1) il grande problema del divario di genere (contenuto e partecipazione) e 2) l'affidabilità dei progetti wiki. Quindi raccontare agli studenti di donne importanti, usando progetti Wikimedia - come Wikipedia, Wikiquote, Wikibooks - come strumenti educativi/risorse didattiche può essere un modo efficace per coinvolgere gli studenti e aiutarli a sviluppare una gamma di competenze diverse (alfabetizzazione digitale, ricerca, discussioni, collaborazione, pensiero critico ecc.). Per raggiungere questi obiettivi, abbiamo due programmi educativi (PCTO in due scuole superiori dell'Emilia Romagna insieme a una fondazione teatrale che gestisce tre dei teatri più rinomati e storici d'Italia: teatro Bonci di Cesena, teatro Storchi di Modena, Arena del Sole di Bologna) e uno stage con l'Università Roma Tre (gli studenti riceveranno 8 CFU), presentazioni e lezioni di persona, edit-a-thon, campagne di caricamento di immagini e foto (per Wiki Loves Folklore Italy e Art + Feminism/Women's sign - firme di donne notevoli - in collaborazione con International Women's Library di Bologna).

Le nostre campagne (Donne nel cambiamento climatico, Women's Sign in Commons all'interno dell'iniziativa Art + Feminism) o programmi educativi nelle scuole e all'università (PCTO "Ritratti di attivismo: donne che cambiano il mondo", "Tirocinio WikiDonne: piattaforme Wiki per un'istruzione aperta e una cultura inclusiva!" con l'Università Roma Tre, PCTO "Open wiki Torre a Mare"), Wiki Loves Folklore Italia/Femminismo e Folklore.

I principali partecipanti sono gli studenti dei licei che vengono preparati prima dell'inizio del programma PCTO (invieremo loro le guide che abbiamo creato per la registrazione e per la traduzione). Abbiamo un programma mensile si lezioni in presenza e lezioni online. Alla fine dei programmi, fare degli eventi conclusivi di presentazione presso i nostri partner e invieremo loro un sondaggio.
