Building upon the groundwork established by the previously funded project (, the team wants to focus on continuous engagement and editor retention, raise awareness of the existing Twi Wikipedia in the Greater and Eastern Regions of Ghana, and further immerse editors and introduce them to ongoing movement policies.

Reflecting on the success and challenges identified in our previous grant, particularly regarding the creation of articles for current Members of Parliament and the engagement of Twi speakers in the Eastern and Greater Accra regions, we recognize the importance of sustained efforts to not only create content but also retain active contributors and enhance the quality of existing articles.

By leveraging lessons learned (, this proposal seeks to address the pressing need for sustained editor engagement and community building and build the capacity of the community members within the Regions (Eastern and Greater Accra) especially women/female editors to contribute to the local Wikipedia.
