6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

We are planning to do this as two different events. One is Hackathon for developing above mentioned project. Setting the project goal and splitting into 5 teams based on their area of excellence. Listing down the features as user stories and assign it to different teams. And another one is Mass wikisource proofreading event. For this event we are planning to select around 15 books and we will assign it to 15 teams. Each team we are planing for 10 members. Planning Both the events at different dates.

This approach will bring more wiki contributors in both technical and non technical ways and this approach will take the usage of Wikipedia to the new form.

One activity is Conducting two days hackathon. In which we will integrate the basic version on text to speech and speech to text in our already built ChatWithWikipage application. And also enhancing the wiki tools such as, developing the SpotWikiEdit tool for Tamil, QuickWikitionary for Tamil language

Another activity is One day Mass Wikisource proofreading event. We are planning to do proofreading for tamil books in Wikisource. We are planning to do it for minimum 200 pages

The target participants are the students and working professionals

We will have a meeting in and explain the plans and will create groups for each development activity and wikisource editings. During the event, all the groups will actively work on the planned action item.

At the end of the event we will create a developer community chapter in our region and we have dedicative Wikipedia developers and we will conduct monthly developers meet and we will follow-up on that.
