1. Describe the implemented activities and results achieved. Additionally, share which approaches were most effective in supporting you to achieve the results. (required)

We organized and awareness campaign were we reach out to interested inviduals, we then organized a physical training session were we introduced the participants to Wikimedia projects and the need to create Health contents on Fulfulde Wikipedia. We also organized a one day photowalk were we documented/shot images of nearby health facilities, rural clinics, primary health care centers, dispensaries and maternity centers. Essential steps taken were the mockup session which was conducted online during/in the mid of the project's period which addressed the issues observed and problems identified related to the translations made by the participants. Also, contest was organized among the participants which encouraged the participants in creating as many health articles as possible on Fulfulde Wikipedia in the one month long project period.

We created over 1,000 new articles and edited/improved over 2,000 mainly on Fulfulde Wikipedia but also improved some English Wikipedia articles with images like the UMTH.

Part 2: Learning

4. In your application, you outlined some learning questions. What did you learn from these learning questions when you implemented your project? How do you hope to use this learnings in the future? You can recall these learning questions below. (required)

You can recall these learning questions below: 1. How did you sustain the participants of this project? 2. As a female organizer what challenges you encounter in organizing the project? 3. In what way your project help in filling content gap in Fulfulde Wikipedia? 4. What approach works best in your project? 5. Do you have any plan for similar project in the future?

1. We created a dedicated WhatsApp group were communications related to the project were handled during the project period and we plan to continue using it for retaining the event participants.

2. Based on our locality lifestyle, leadership and technical roles are still male-dominated. So, being a female organizer sometimes meant not being taken seriously at first, especially when coordinating contributors, or community stakeholders. There is also a low number of active female contributors on Fulfulde Wikipedia already. Encouraging women to participate required extra effort due to time constraints, household responsibilities, and lack of confidence in contributing to an open online platform. These are the challenges I faced while organizing this project.

3. There were no articles related to health on Fulfulde Wikipedia and this project helps in creating hundreds of health articles thereby filling the existing gap in Fulfulde Wikipedia.

4. All the approach plays a unique role in making this project a success.

5. yes, we plan to work on similar project in the near future to ensure sustainability is maintained.

5. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities? This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences? (required)

No, we had the opportunity to run the activities as expected except that in some hospitals we had difficulty convincing the securities to allow us shot images of the buildings while some buildings were totally restricted for us to shot. This has prevented us from documenting some important places that we planned to added on Wikimedia Commons.

6. What is your plan to share your project learnings and results with other community members? If you have already done it, describe how. (required)

We have a dedicated WhatsApp group were communications were handle during the project period and we plan to continue using it for retaining the event participants. The results were shared in this platform.
