Presently, Fulfulde Wikipedia is one of the fast growing small language Wikipedia however like many similar small language communities, majority of the Fulfulde editors including the experienced ones are not aware that Fulfulde Wikipedia lacks articles around vital topics and these leads to low page views from this Wikipedia compared to others. Majority of the editors did not realize that they can write articles about their surrounding environment, places, arts, histories, cultures, myths, geographies and literature among others. Contents diversity is very much lacking as very few of the articles touch areas such as literatures, cultures, places, cuisine among other vital topics. This project aim to inspire Fulfulde editors in writing articles on these vital topics.

The first thing we do was to arrange a list of selected 1,000 Wikipedia vital articles on the most notable topics in different fields of knowledge and human activity sourced from the list of 10,000 vital articles on the English Wikipedia. Our aim is to translate these articles to Fulfulde Wikipedia to help in the growth of Fulfulde Wikipedia.
1. Trainings: we will organize 2 workshops; one will be online where every Fulfulde Wikipedia editor will be invited to attend the session for training on Google Meet to be introduced to the Vital articles and Content Translation tool.
- The second workshop will be physical session where the participants will be giving the list of the articles to have a practical hands-on experience on how to contribute to the free encyclopedia. During that, we will make sure all partcipants are trained well enough to carry on the translations accurately.
2. Dashboard and support: We will create an event registration tool and ask the participants to join so that their contributions will be recorded and helped those without Wikipedia accounts to register.
3. Contest and prizes: we will motivate the participants through contest and award prizes to the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place. The remaining participants will receive online certificates of participation.
