This project is all about including Nigerian major languages in Hausa Wikitionary. In Nigeria, there are three major languages, Hausa/Fulani,Igbo and Yoruba. These major languages interact with each other and live in the same community, especially in the urban areas of Nigeria. They even Speak each other's languages because of their interactions with each other. This project aims to include meaning and pronounciation of Fulani,Igbo and Yoruba words under a section in every word created in Hausa Wiktionary, so as to help learners understand similar words in different languages with their pronunciation, like the way English Wiktionary contains the world's major languages. Including of these languages together will improve Hausa Wikitionary in a way that learners understand Hausa language very well in comparison to other main languages, and give their contributions. Hausa and non Hausa speakers will also be able to learn Fulani,Igbo and Yoruba languages as well. Pronunciation of words will also be very helpful in achieving of this impact, because being able to pronounce words properly is very helpful in learning a language. That's why we will also provide pronunciation of word in every section that contain the Fulani,Igbo and Yoruba language words we created. Including of these languages is important because it will help to increase the number of contributors so that it will not be only Hausas who can contribute in Hausa Wikitionary.
