The project also seeks to launch Likpakpaanl Language Wikimedians at University for Development Studies who will be fortified with skills to begin contributing to wikimedia projects. Challenges or problems we are trying to solve are that the Likpakpaanl community have no idea of wikipedia and its sister projects and this is to create awareness of Wikipedia and its sister projects by recruiting volunteers who will be interested in contributing to wikipedia and its sister projects. The language is not represented in the digital space which has called for concerns and a way forward, this project will create awareness and establish an editors community that will lead group to transition the language from the incubator to a fully fledged wikipedia site. Moreso, the project will train volunteers to be equipped with the relevant skills to translate the most used/ most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net to 100% in Likpakpaanl language and also translate some English articles to Anufo language in the wikimedia incubator. An awareness campaign will be launched at University for Development Studies, Nyankpala Campus and afterwards, volunteers interested in contributing to free knowledge will be trained on how to translate the most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net in Likpakpaanl language and also write articles in the incubator.
