You can recall these learning questions below: Após experiências menores de criação de eventos para ampliar a comunidade editora dos projetos Wikimedia, identificamos que seria interessante estabelecer contato com a comunidade de jornalistas científicos e divulgadores de ciência do Brasil. Essa é uma comunidade em ascensão, sobretudo com o uso das redes sociais intensificado no contexto pandêmico e pós-pandêmico.

Assim, queremos aprender principalmente sobre o potencial de engajamento da comunidade de divulgação científica com os projetos Wikimedia e como superar barreiras iniciais para contribuições de qualidade, apresentando uma proposta em software livre para uma comunidade muito nichada nas redes sociais. Nossas principais perguntas de aprendizagem são:

  • Qual é o interesse e o nível de familiaridade inicial das pessoas divulgadoras de ciência com edição na Wikipédia e uso do Wikimedia Commons?
  • Quais são as principais barreiras percebidas pelas participantes para contribuir com projetos Wikimedia e como uma abordagem prática e acolhedora pode superá-las?
  • Quantas contribuições concretas (edições, uploads de imagens, ilustrações) as pessoas participantes conseguem produzir durante as oficinas e quantas continuam após o evento?
  • Como as oficinas podem ser ajustadas para melhor atender diferentes perfis (iniciantes, educadoras e educadores, artistas) e ampliar a retenção na comunidade Wikimedia?

Essas questões podem ser respondidas por meio de questionários rápidos antes e depois das oficinas, registro das contribuições realizadas e acompanhamento pós-evento.
