The Pazeh language is critically endangered, and much of its linguistic and cultural knowledge remains scattered across teaching materials, community archives, personal collections, and oral memories. While our previous Wikimedia project successfully established foundational resources through videos, photographs, and Wiktionary entries, many resources still lack sufficient context, pronunciation information, and cultural explanations to support learning and long-term preservation.
In addition, valuable cultural materials such as historical photographs, traditional place-based knowledge, and language resources are not yet well represented within Wikimedia platforms. Without further documentation and contextualization, these materials may become increasingly difficult for younger generations and the wider public to access and understand.
This project seeks to strengthen the representation of Pazeh language and cultural memory on Wikimedia platforms by improving and expanding existing language resources, adding pronunciation recordings and contextual information, documenting historical photographs and cultural landscapes, and creating more accessible learning materials.
