Training and Recruitment: 51 editors were recruited during the awareness and trained using comprehensive resources through online and physical sessions.
Improving Owo contents on English Wikipedia and preserving cultural heritage on Wikipedia Common: An Edit- a-thon was organized as the participants actively contributed to Wikipedia and Wiki common.
Community building of Wiki editors in Owo: At the end of the project, a sustainable group named 'Wikimedians in Owo' was created for the participants. The link to the community is provided in the designated space.
At the end of the project,
A sustainable group in the form of a whatsapp group was launched, where the participants interacted, sought guidance, and continued to learn about the Wikimedia movement.
The physical distribution of flyers at the community was an effective approach as the majority of the participants who participate in the project emerged from the Achievers University in Owo.
