First Activity: Arabic Wikipedia 20th Anniversary Competition (Aug 03, 2024 - 31 Aug, 2024) Competition Focus: Article maintenance and content quality improvement.

1. Planning Phase: Identified priority categories and articles for participants. Developed a comprehensive plan outlining: Article quality and content criteria, Participant eligibility and requirements, Editorial guidelines for the competition, Judging mechanisms.

2. Promotion Phase: Announced the competition through Arabic Wikipedia’s village pump/Almaidan, social media channels, and banner. Engaged the community’s participants with guidance messages on user talk pages.

3. Competition Duration: 4 weeks. Participants worked on mainting and improving the articles list we prepared: adding info boxes, removing orphans templates from articles, and adding references to articles without references.

4. Judging Phase: Lastes for 4 weeks after the competition concluded. Judging based on contributions’ quality and adherence to competition rules.

5. Final Phase: Sending prizes to the winners and compiling lessons learned and shared the experience on the Dev Wiki blog and Arabic Wikipedia.

Second Activity: Wikiquote Editing Competition (Part of #SheSaid Campaign) (06 Sep, 2024 - 18 Oct, 2024) Competition Focus: Improving readability and contributions to the Maghreb region's content on Wikiquote.
