Il y a peu de citations de femmes sur Wikiquote. Pourtant, de par leur leadership et leurs engagements pour le développement des communautés. Néanmoins, leur présence sur Wikiquote reste dramatiquement absente ou insuffisamment valorisée malgré leur présence sur Wikipédia.
De plus, de nombreuses pages de citations existantes souffrent d’un manque de qualité et de profondeur, ce qui limite leur impact et leur portée.
Face à ce constat, la campagne #SheSaid s’impose comme une réponse stratégique et urgente. Nous comptons en profiter pour amplifier les voix féminines et renforcer la dynamique du mouvement Wikimedia par des contributions et des engagements féminins. En 2025, SheSaid Bénin s'inscrit pleinement dans cet effort mondial en redonnant aux femmes la place qu’elles méritent dans l’espace numérique libre.
À travers des ateliers de formation, des edit-a-thons et une mobilisation forte des communautés locales, cette initiative vise à documenter, enrichir et mettre des citations de femmes notables. L’engagement féminin sera au cœur du processus, avec une approche inclusive, collaborative et durable.

Cette campagne locale est organisée dans un cadre global de SheSaid 2025. A cet effet, nous aurons le soutien de plusieurs éditeurs expérimentés qui peuvent accompagner notre travail. La campagne est organisée au niveau mondial par l’équipe de Wiki Loves Women. Donc, l’équipe globale met à disposition du matériel de communication tels que des modèles de visuels pour les réseaux sociaux, des canaux de communication, et organise des formations en ligne ainsi qu’un soutien pour les groupes participants durant des heures de bureaux.

Nous envisageons de lancer un formulaire d'inscription en ligne pour recruter des participant.e.s en plus des jeunes étudiantes du centre de formation sur les métiers du numérique et de l’entrepreneuriat (l’Envol) à Abomey-Calavi. A cela s'ajoutera la participation des contributeurs des éditions passées. Ensuite, on les mobilisera à l’adhésion du groupe WhatsApp à travers une séance de communication. Ainsi, le suivi sera fait en temps réel pendant et après les ateliers de formation par la patrouille sur Wikiquote et une mise à niveau individuelle et collective dans un forum WhatsApp dédié aux participant.e.s.
