L’édition #SheSaid 2025 au Togo s’inscrit dans une dynamique stratégique visant à renforcer la représentation des femmes dans les contenus numériques libres et à promouvoir une participation plus inclusive aux projets Wikimedia. À travers une série de 4 jours d’ateliers et d’éditathons et de sessions de mentorat organisées sous format hybrique, la communauté Wikimedia du Togo a orienté ses travaux vers l’amélioration des contenus sur Wikiquote, tout en renforçant les capacités des participants sur Wikipédia et Wikidata. Plus de 40 participants ont pris part aux différentes activités, dont 29 éditeurs actifs mobilisés autour de la création et de l’amélioration de contenus liés aux femmes inspirantes du Togo, d’Afrique et du monde francophone. Cette édition a permis de modifier 119 articles sur Wikiquote et de créer 30 nouvelles pages en français et en anglais, contribuant ainsi à renforcer la visibilité des voix féminines sur les plateformes Wikimedia. Au-delà de Wikiquote, les participants ont également été formés aux contributions sur Wikipédia et Wikidata afin de développer une approche plus complète de la production de connaissances libres. Sur Wikipédia, la campagne a permis de toucher 619 articles, dont 511 améliorations et 108 nouvelles créations. Sur Wikidata, 425 éléments ont été enrichis, avec 351 modifications et 74 nouveaux éléments créés.

Part 2: Learning

You can recall these learning questions below: 1. Explorer les approches efficaces pour documenter et diffuser les voix féminines à travers leurs citations. 2. Comment démystifier Wikiquote et le rendre plus accessible aux nouveaux contributeurs ? 3. Comment renforcer la capacité des contributeurs togolais et africains afin qu’ils deviennent des acteurs clés de la production de contenu sur Wikiquote ?
Nous avons appris que Wikiquote n’est pas le projet Wikimedia le plus facile à éditer pour les nouveaux contributeurs, notamment à cause des critères de notabilité, d’éligibilité des citations ainsi que des règles et bonnes pratiques propres à Wikiquote en français. Cependant, une fois les mécanismes compris, les participants développent progressivement une routine de contribution et gagnent en autonomie. Nous avons également constaté que pour renforcer durablement ces compétences, il est important de poursuivre les activités au-delà de la campagne #SheSaid. L’organisation régulière de sessions internes de contribution et de mentorat pendant les week-ends permettrait de consolider les acquis, d’accompagner les nouveaux contributeurs et de faire de Wikiquote un projet plus accessible et mieux maîtrisé au sein de la communauté Wikimedia du Togo.

L’un des aspects inattendus et positifs du projet a été le fort intérêt manifesté par les participants pour Wikiquote, malgré le fait qu’il soit moins connu et plus exigeant techniquement que Wikipédia. On a également été surpris par l'engouement que les participants ont eu pour les autres projets tels que wikidata et wikipédia.

Les résultats et apprentissages de la campagne seront partagés à travers la page Meta du projet ainsi que les plateformes de communication de la communauté Wikimedia du Togo, notamment les comptes X et Facebook, où seront également diffusées les citations créées ou améliorées sur Wikiquote afin de renforcer leur visibilité. Des sessions communautaires et des rencontres internes seront également organisées pour partager les bonnes pratiques, les défis rencontrés et les leçons apprises avec les nouveaux contributeurs.
