The proposal seeks to Translate the most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net in Anufo language and also translate some articles in the wikimedia incubator from the English wikipedia to Anufo test wiki project. Challenges or problems we are trying to solve are that a lot of people have no idea of wikipedia and its sister projects and this is to create awareness of Wikipedia and its sister projects by recruiting volunteers who will be interested in contributing to wikipedia and its sister projects. Moreso, the project will train volunteers to be equipped with the relevant skills to translate the most used/ most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net in Anufo language and also translate some English articles to Anufo language in the wikimedia incubator. An awareness campaign will be launched in Chereponi and afterwards, volunteers interested in contributing to free knowledge will be trained on how to translate the most important messages of the MediaWiki

Alhassan Alidu, User: Hasslaebetch: (Main trainer) - He is a co-lead for Moore Wikimedia Community and an experienced Master trainer. He is an experienced event organiser as well for wikimedia events. He embarks on physical and online training programmes for volunteers. He also harness on recorded videos to train volunteers that have inadequate time yet want to contribute to free knowledge.

Yaw Kan, User: Yaw-kan: (Co - facilitator and Organiser) - He is a member of the Anufo Language Wikimedians. He is a writer and expert in Anufo language. He will co-facilitate the programme and also be in charge of organising the programme at Chereponi.

Salifu Ramatu Amoe, User: Salifu Ramatu Amoe: (Logistics and communications) - She is a member of Anufo Language Wikimedians: . He will be in charge of all logistics that will be required for a successful programme. As an energetic role model and mentor of most young girls in Chereponi, She plays an instrumental role in communication and network.

The target participants will be the Anufo (Chakosi) people who are densely populated in Chereponi, Ghana. Organisers will rely more on social media platforms to engage with participants on awareness of wikimedia, recruitment, training and assisting them to add quality contribution on the incubator.before and during activities. The participants will be engaged in translation of the most used/most important in mediawiki. Aside from that, they trained on the incubator so they could be engaged in edit-a-thon. Participants will be encouraged to join all the social media platforms of the group or the community social media pages. All the participants will receive periodic updates from us, and follow-up will also be conducted through one-on-one engagement both via online and offline engagement

We hope to learn what passion inspire participants to this project. We hope to learn the challenges that hinders participants contributing to the free knowledge. We hope to learn how the team collaborate to strategically translate unfamiliar/scientific messages into Anufo language. We hope to learn how user friendly the incubator is regarding translation and creation of articles.
