International (more than one country across continents or regions) The implementation will take place internationally as it targets the Esperanto-speaker community and heritage, which is spread all around the globe.

Other (please specify) The entire project related to the contest Vikio Amas ZEOjn or Wiki Loves ZEOs. It is similar to Wiki Loves Monuments, but as the Esperanto heritage is out of scope of WLM, we run our own version of the contest, in this case, the second edition. We aim to improve the quantity of free media available about our heritage and share it with the world.

This is important to our community because we can't participate in Wiki Loves Monuments, but there is a valuable heritage of Esperanto-related monuments and places all around the globe. We want to continue the digital preservation of the monuments, places and objects that Esperantists have left behind in history. We want to preserve the Esperanto heritage before it disappears, as Esperanto communities are often very small and spread.

Our main activities are those related to any Wiki Loves competition. The campaign is going to be fully virtual as the Esperanto community is widespread around the world. We'll focus on social media and partnerships to call for participation and interact with the public. One of the prizes consist on the People's Award, and we expect to engage new editors/photographers via this activity. Central Banner will be requested.
A planned partnership with the Universal Esperanto Association is planned, as we are in contact, so they can sponsor one special prize and publish notes about the contest.

User:Sahaquiel9102, I'm the main organizer of the contest, in charge of the campaign in Commons and a member of the jury. User:KuboF Hromoslav, supports the contest and administers the social media of the user group. Also a member of the jury. User:Remux, supports the contest and is a member of the jury We are all volunteers of Esperanto and Free Knowledge User Group and do not receive a salary for this.
Another jury member will join the team later, also as a volunteer. Not a Wikimedian but a committee member of Universal Esperanto Association. To be confirmed.

We target Esperanto-speakers in general and editors of Esperanto Wikipedia. We'll engage participants by publishing about the contest on our social media. We will use the means (social media, published magazine) of the Universal Esperanto Association to reach its members. We will send messages to the participants of the last edition of the contest to re-enrol them. Also, an invitation to participate will be published in Village Pumps in various Wikimedia projects. A Central Notice will be required in Meta to be shown in Esperanto Wikipedia.

This was discussed in the last General Assembly of the User Group and approved. Also, this has been discussed in the Telegram group of the UG. Last december we were invited to talk about our 2018 contest during the Virtual Congress of the Universal Esperanto Association, where we discussed the idea of a new edition.

With every iteration, we expect to learn how to run a better contest. This time, we hope to learn about the metrics tool. Also, we expect to learn about which ZEOs have disappeared and if any new has been created since the last contest. Finally, depending on the outcome, we are discussing with the Universal Esperanto Association a way to establish an updated database, based on Wikibase, or a publication about still existing ZEOs.
