Massive climate action is needed by 2030 to prevent catastrophic levels of change in our environment. Millions of people are joining organizations to seek information on how to take action, from youth to parents to retirees and from diverse cultures, regions, and properties. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) also known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity through ending poverty and protecting the planet. The Goals were built on the successes of the Millennium Development Goals while including new areas however, the goals are interconnected. In Nigeria and Africa at large, the SDGs Goals, especially goal 13, which is a Global concern, aren't discussed much. Our proposal aims at helping global campaign in bridging the SDGs goal 13 gap that exists on English Wikipedia with a focus on Nigeria content. This will help in creating awareness on the issue of Climate Change in Nigeria.

The first step in creating a public understanding of effective actions is to compile reviews of scientific studies. We seek to work with WikiProject Climate Change to: 1) create a page/section and add useful, verified climate action references into https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Climate_change/Recommended_sources; 2) help make this a central resource to support and 3) insert references and quotables into Wikipedia, Wikiquotes for the public to find and share.
