In 2021, we started the first Wiki LGBT advocacy in Nigeria through the Rapid fund supports. This has metamorphosed into a wiki LGBT+ community in Nigeria and also helped expand the LGBT+ coverage of Nigerian topics on the Wikimedia projects. With our last TransVisibility Camaoign which targetted Ghana, Benin for the first time through the [banner notice] and this has increased participation from these two countries and the need to develop the capacity of so many queer contributors based on the request received.
So this project is mainly centered on training the Ghana and Benin LGBT communities on the basis of contributing contents to Wikipedia so more content of the country LGBT can be better represented as part of the WikiForHuman project.
