En 2025, nous avons organisé plusieurs événements au sein de notre groupe d'utilisateurs. Cependant nous avons constaté que la participation des femmes était très faible lors de ces activités. Alors pour remédier à cette situation, nous avons mis en place, en collaboration avec la Ligue tchadienne des droits des femmes et WenakLabs, un projet destiné aux femmes et sur les femmes. Cet événement, que nous avons dénommé Wiki Awine (wiki pour les femmes, « Awine » signifiant « femmes » en arabe tchadien), permettra de former des femmes à la contribution sur Wikipédia, Wikidata et Wikimedia Commons.

Nous prévoyons d'organiser : Deux ateliers de formation sur la contribution wikipédia; Un atelier de formation sur Wikimedia commons; Deux edithtatons de contribution sur wikipédia ; Une séance de téléversement des images sur commons.

Nos participants cibles sont principalement des Tchadiennes, notamment des jeunes de 18 à 35 ans, des journalistes, des blogueuses, des étudiantes, des défenseurs des droits des femmes et toutes les personnes intéressées par la question de l'égalité des genres.

Avant l'événement, nous communiquerons sur le lancement des activités sur nos réseaux sociaux et nous diffuserons l'appel à participation dans divers groupes d'informations.

Après l'événement, nous intégrerons les participants au groupe WhatsApp et Telegram de la communauté et nous les informerons de nos prochaines activités via ces canaux ainsi que sur nos plateformes sociales.

D’abord l’idée est née d’un constat collectif sur la faible participation des femmes/filles dans les rencontres wiki au Tchad. Cependant, nous avons abordé l’idée de notre projet avec les membres de notre communauté sur WhatsApp, puis nous nous sommes rencontrés physiquement lors de notre bootcamp trimestriel, pour discuter d’avantage. Ensuite, nous avons alors décidé de constituer l'équipe ensemble, puis créé un document Google sur lequel nous avons rédigé cette demande ensemble.

A travers cette proposition, nous voulons non seulement combler l'écart entre les sexes dans les projets que nous allons mener, mais également parmi les volontaires que nous allons recruter pour cet événement. De même nous allons donc nous focaliser sur les femmes pour cette activité. Et prévoyons que 80 % de nos bénévoles seront des femmes. Ainsi nous adopterons également des stratégies pour les maintenir sur les projets Wikimédia.
