Lagos has a very rich cultural heritage, but the amount of freely licensed photos of listed cultural heritage in Lagos on commons is still low, so I want to bring the change in Lagos that will eventually lead people to be aware about Wikipedia and it's sister projects. Lagos is a very big city with tribe, culture, language and tradition all in a very big city. I'll use this medium in putting effort to ensure that all are documented on Wikicommons through workshops and encourage people to participate in Wiki loves Folklore to preserve their heritage.

The main problems or challenges, which I would like to solve is to help and guide people by providing them awareness and training to enable and encourage them to participate in Wikipedia and it's sister projects. By this proposal and by this strategy I would like to share my knowledge and skills with seasoned Wikimedians and New babies to bring them to Wikimedia movement and by encouraging them to participate in the movement of sharing free knowledge platform like Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons to document their rich cultural heritage on Wiki Commons.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found. Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

1. Workshop: we will introduce our members to the Wiki Loves Folklore contest and train them on how to contribute/participate and also invite professional photographers in the region and introduce them to Wikimedia projects and give them room to participate in the contest.

2. Photo hunts: we will embark on a photo walks taking and gathering random pictures of about 300- 500 different unrepeated, quality images. Training sessions: another training will be held before the participants start uploading the media files to ensure accuracy and meeting of the requirements and to avoid having many problems with the uploaded files.

3. Upload sessions: most experience editors will lead and guide the other participants especially the newly recruited ones during the upload sessions.

4. Tracking Tools: we will use outreach dashboard, Wikiloves, and hashtag tools to track participants' contributions and also provide one on one support for them.
