We successfully conducted the "Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in UAE" campaign. Key activities included:

  • Preparation Phase: From July to September 2024, we formed the project team, recruited volunteers and jury members, and created promotional materials. A graphic designer was hired to design four posters for campaign amplification.
  • Onboarding: On October 1, 2024, a virtual onboarding session introduced participants and volunteers to the campaign objectives and provided guidelines on participation.
  • Campaign Execution: Weekly announcements and updates were shared on various platforms, including Facebook, Telegram, and the Wikimedia mailing list. These ensured consistent engagement and participation.
  • Photography Collection: Participants submitted 302 photos of UAE monuments. Out of these, 270 images met the campaign's quality standards and which were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons.

Internet compensation for volunteer was didn’t used, as our campaign volunteer not much active with us, and didn’t show any work activity to put in the work summary. unspent funds in local is 268.23 AED, and $73 in USD.
