1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

We want to create awareness about Wikidata in this year's celebration of wikidata. While many of our community are aware of Wikipedia and are active contributors and user of wikipedia the same is not the case for Wikidata. In the quest to increase awareness and build more capacity we believe that creating that awareness and building capacity through this year's celebration will bring a little change in what already has been the situation for our community.

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

The main strategy is to create a hybrid event, and invite members from across our hub to be part of this workshop and celebration. We also want to create awareness about the benefits of Wiki data in our world today and its benefits, gather community stories put them together to create awareness and visibility.

3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?

As part of this approach, we will be on board wiki data experts in the community to build capacity and enlighten the community about Wiki data through the hybrid workshop. We will also invite the Wikidata 4 Education Team to share insight about the pilot project which is happening in Ghana and how that is going to benefit/improve the educational system in Ghana.
