This project aims to introduce Wikimedia projects to the public of College of Agriculture Science And Technology Gujba, one of few tertiary institutions in Nigeria which combined Science, Technology and Agriculture and the only one of its kind in the eastern part of the country which make it stand out as one of the most populous institutions in Nigeria yet Wikimedia projects activities are unreached to this multi-cultural community of this great institutions. It is saddening to see a well populated institutions like this with vibrant young individuals ready to go any length in carrying out humanitarian services and share their potentials in a free knowledge movement like Wikipedia are kept in the gloom of ignorance of the movement's existence and activities as they have zero awareness of the activities the movement have been running for years. Evidence of this can be seen in the fact that the institution despite being a government owned that was established since 1950s is not having even a page on English Wikipedia, the institution was only listed on this page. Even the community where the institution is located ( Gujba ) lacked adequate information required of a standard Wikipedia articles. Many more historical and cultural sites in the area like the Gujba Forest Reserve, Gujba Emirate Council, Shehu of Borno's old resting house, the house of Rabih and his son, Daniski Hills, Dofarga spring water, Tudun Tsira market, documenting the Boko Haram insurgents activities/attacks, IDPs and many more are missing. With the introduction of the Wikimedia projects activities in the College of Agriculture Science And Technology Gujba the impact will go from within and outside the college community. We will make sure that all the above named articles and many more are created on English Wikipedia and translated to Fulfulde, Hausa and Kanuri languages since the institution is multicultural and many students speak morethan one language with majority being Fulani, Kanuri and Hausa.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found.
