The project "Wikimedia as an Educational Enhancer for Gender Equality" aims to address the underrepresentation of women's perspectives and experiences in Wikipedia in the Hausa communities , as well as to encourage more women and girls to participate in Wikipedia editing, and to use Wikipedia as an educational tool in schools to promote gender equality.The changes this project will bring are:

Increased representation of women's perspectives and experiences in Wikipedia: By creating or improving articles that cover topics related to gender equality and that include the perspectives of women, the project can help to ensure that Wikipedia articles accurately reflect the diversity of human experiences and perspectives.

The crew for the project are a team of people who have been involved in a lot of trainings, with vast experience in editing, and lots more. They are also part of the team for movement strategy for Hausa Communities.
