Project and impact
[edit]- 1. How did your project go? Did you reach all project goals and success metrics?
Yes, the project went very well and we were able to achieve the main goals. As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Wikipedia in Tunis (Tunisia), we organized a one-day event at the City of Sciences in Tunis. This event brought together many Wikimedians from across Tunisia to celebrate the anniversary of Wikipedia.
The event was a great opportunity to highlight the development of Wikimedia activities in Tunisia over the past ten years. During the day, several Wikimedians presented their experiences, shared the challenges they face when contributing to Wikipedia, and discussed the importance of free knowledge in Tunisia.
It also helped strengthen the connections between community members and created a space for discussion, reflection, and future collaboration. Overall, the event successfully met its objectives by celebrating Wikipedia’s anniversary, showcasing the achievements of the Tunisian Wikimedia community, and encouraging continued participation in Wikimedia projects.
