In Japan, the outflow of population from regional cities to urban areas is resulting in a decline in the number of young people who understand and preserve the history and culture of their local cities. To solve this problem, it is necessary to rediscover the charm of the region and get local residents interested in their hometowns. Therefore, this initiative will have local elderly people share information about the local history and culture, and local residents themselves will create and post information about their town on Wikipedia, a well-known medium, to stimulate children's interest and motivation in the region and foster an attachment to their town.
