Esta propuesta continuará los esfuerzos de los tres últimos WikiSenderos en los que se obtuvieron, como resultados:
- WikiSendero Andes 2022: Creación de 12 artículos, subida de 500 fotografías
- WikiSendero Andes 2024: Creación de 12 artículos, 121 artículos editados, 22 participantes y 840 fotografías subidas a Wikimedia Commons.
- WikiSendero Andes 2025: Creación de 22 artículos, 137 artículos editados, 25 participantes y 850 fotografías subidas a Wikimedia Commons
Los lineamientos del programa WikiSendero busca desarrollar contenido, continuar el trabajo con las alianzas ya establecidas y aumentar el número de editores (y la comunidad correspondiente) en la región andina, iniciando en el estado Mérida debido a que es el bastión principal del grupo. La región andina venezolana, que incluye Mérida, Táchira y Trujillo, enfrenta brechas en la documentación cultural y natural. La población, con una cultura turística que impulsa su economía, está bien preparada para recibir visitantes, lo que alinea con el enfoque educativo de Wikiviajes. Dada la escasez de información disponible en línea sobre esta zona, el programa busca aumentar la documentación y crear conciencia, involucrando a la comunidad en la difusión de su conocimiento. Esto enriquecerá el movimiento al permitir que el contenido sea creado y mantenido por locales, en lugar de depender de fuentes externas.
En este cuarto proyecto del programa, en el marco del Wiki Loves Monuments, se retomará el Wiki Loves Monuments Venezuela (con apoyo de Wikimedia Venezuela) y se integrará con el WikiSendero, dando paso a Wikivoyage Loves Venezuela y cerrando el programa de WikiSendero dados los excelentes resultados obtenidos. En síntesis, se crearán artículos sobre Venezuela y se subirán fotografías de los monumentos venezolanos

- 27 de julio - 20 de agosto: Preparación del proyecto, análisis de riesgos y reuniones con aliados. También incluye la creación de la lista actualizada de patrimonio venezolano. Selección del jurado.
- 20 de agosto - 20 de octubre: Inicio del Wikivoyage Loves Venezuela
- 20-23 de octubre: Revisión de resultados del concurso
- 24 de octubre: Entrega de resultados
Mientras que la parte de toma de fotografías estará abierta durante el 1 de septiembre y hasta el 1 de octubre, el concurso de edición estará abierto desde el 20 de agosto hasta el 20 de octubre. Cada semana se realizarán sesiones de refuerzo para los participantes, también como una forma de sumar mas personas a participar.

El jurado será decidido entre Wikimedia Small Projects y Wikimedia Venezuela de una lista de voluntarios capacitados para tomar tal rol. Sus integrantes serán revelados el 20 de agosto.

Los participantes serán, principalmente, residentes de Venezuela (sin excluir a quienes deseen participar fuera de la misma).
Tras el proyecto, se ofrecerán talleres de capacitación y edición para integrar a la comunidad en los proyectos de Wikimedia y promover contenido de calidad. Los canales de comunicación en Telegram se seguirán usando para mantener a la comunidad informada sobre eventos y permitir el contacto con organizadores.
Después de las actividades, se continuará en contacto con los participantes, incentivándolos a contribuir a Wikiviajes mediante recordatorios sobre talleres y oportunidades de colaboración, así como reconocimientos para quienes hagan aportes significativos.
