We want to promote the culture, biodiversity and local stories of Chad by documenting and sharing free content on Wikimedia. The aim is to improve the representation of Africa in digital resources and to encourage citizen participation in content creation. Main challenges or problems to be resolved 1. Many citizens are not aware of Wikimedia projects and their importance. 2. In some regions, access to the Internet is difficult, which limits participation. 3 There may be a lack of training for potential contributors on how to create and share quality content. 4. Chad has over two hundred (200) languages and dialects, making it difficult to create content that is accessible to all.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found. Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

Cultural events: We will be organising conferences led by local experts who will share their knowledge of the different cultures of our country, in order to highlight Congolese culture. Take advantage of these events to celebrate our heritage through traditional dance shows, musical performances and art exhibitions. Photo outings: We will plan outings to historical, cultural and natural sites in Ndjamena and Abéché, to capture quality photos and videos that reflect the beauty and diversity of Africa. Workshops on Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia and Wikidata: We will be organising workshops to show participants how to upload images, videos and audio files.
