Your draft implementation plan document should address the following questions clearly:

  • What movement strategy initiative or goal are you addressing?
  • What activities will you be doing to address that initiative?
  • What do you expect will happen as a result of your activities? How do those outcomes address the movement strategy initiative?
  • How will you measure or evaluate your activities? What tools or methods will you use to evaluate your activities?

To create a draft implementation plan, we recommend the use of a logic model, which will help you and your team think about goals, activities, outcomes, and other factors in an organized way. Please refer the following resources to develop a logic model:

What Movement Strategy initiative is this draft plan supporting?

  • This research grant supported initiative 26 on regional and thematic hubs, initiative 30 to "enhance communication and collaboration capacity with partners and collaborators" and initiative 32 on "global approach for local skill development - gathering data, matching peers, mentorship, recognition".

What activities have you completed to produce this draft plan?

  • In producing the report, 25 semi-structured interviews were conducted with representatives of WikiFranca-affiliated members, their communities, and former board members to gather diverse perspectives on current needs and challenges. A community survey was aldo carried out and widely distributed across various WikiFranca communication channels, focusing on demographics, training needs, capacity building, and open feedback. Additionally, an online community conversation allowed participants and board members to review preliminary findings, discuss the development of the francophone hub, and explore strategies to address key issues like volunteer retention and support needs.

  • The report has been announced during a WikiFranca community conversation, and further circulated through mailing lists and other messaging channels.

There are €5,086 in unspent funds. We can either return them to the Wikimedia Foundation or use them to initiate the implementation phase of the recommendations.
