We are planning to present a series of four editathons on Art+Feminism. Starting with the first event on International Women's Month, in March; The second, in May to commemorate Women's and Labor Practices; The third, in July to celebrate the International Afro-Latin American and Afro-Caribbean Women's Day; and the fourth in November to honor the Black Consciousness Day in Brazil. Our events goals are to highlight underrepresented women artists, and focusing on the betterment and creation of Wikipedia entries.

Yes, we do have experienced Wikipedia editors within our group to train new editors and help intermediate editors. We also collaborated in 2020 with the Wiki Movimento Brasil User Group, and we presented four events with their assistance. https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/users/NaPupila

Understanding the lack of resources and internet access in different regions in Brazil, we would like to help our community of participants with internet access. For those registered in the events, we will provide Wikipedia editing training, as well as a list of resources to navigate zoom and Google platforms. We will provide a list of references too.

How will you promote and let participants know about your Wikipedia 20 event? Please describe or link to the spaces you will be using to inform your community about your activities. Please note there are resources available to support your communications for Wikipedia 20 events.
Besides using our social media channels and email mailing lists comprising more than 1500 followers and contacts. Our events will happen in partnership with cultural or educational institutions as we did in the past, which means that we also are going to take advantage of their social networks to marketing the editathons. For instance, last year we had coverage from Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper, MarieClaire Magazine, Caju Magazine, Geledes Portal, Newsletter of Instituto Moreira Salles, ArtSoul Arts Portal, among others.

For wiki users, we will share the event on the Portuguese version of the “Village Pump” (the “Esplanada”) and on the page for “Portuguese Activities”. We will also make use of the social media of Portuguese Wikipedia, as well as the social media of the Wiki Movimento Brasil User Group/Wikimedia no Brasil.

How will you keep participants engaged after the event is over? How will you be sharing photos, videos, or other content from your activities after they are completed?
Yes, it's our mission at NaPupila to foster digital community engagement and we will provide screenshots, short clips and Wiki tips, with participants. We will make ourselves available to keep helping new editors by email or social media. We also usually provide a curated list of content on women artists such as talks, panels and video recordings via email marketing and women artists biosn on our instagram feed.

We at NaPupila are committed to raising awareness about women artists in Brazilian culture, our goal is to shed light in particular on the work and life of marginalized voices in the arts. In 2019 and 2020, we were the only group presenting Art+Feminism editathons in the city of Rio de Janeiro adn we were able to partner with artists, researchers, librarians, museums and organizations from different parts of the country. We held events in partnership with the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts and artist Aline Besouro for Art+Feminism (March); Moreira Salles Institute and artist Fernanda Grigolin for Art & Labor (May); Moreira Salles Institute, Afro Digital Museum and artist Silvana Mendes for Art & Archive (July); and Professor Amara Moira and artist Elle di Bernardini for the Trans Art (August.)

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding).

We have three experienced Art curators who also happen to be Wikipedia editors focusing on events production, content, and marketing. We also partner with the Wiki Movimento Brasil Group User and they might attend the events. Each of the three members is part of a network of many art researchers, scholars, museum professionals, librarians, artists, and culture technologists to connect with and invite to the events. However, we do not have any other source of funding.

Support NaPupila events are super well organized and suited for the remote format under the pandemics situation. I have participated in most of their previous events and I'm amazed by how they can gather artists, scholars and wikimedians not only to edit but also to discuss diversity and decolonization on Wikimedia projects.
