There will be 8 Photowalks and 2 participants. Each tour will cover 1 rivers and environs.

2. What kind of content will the walks focus on? Why is this topic a priority?

The content will focus on water bodies and their surrounding environment which may include vegetations,geographical/natural/cultural object and soil among others. All the river that we will focus on have articles on Wikipedia but no photos. they include: Otamiri River,Nworie River,Oguta Lake,Awbana River,Orashi River,Imo River,Njaba River,Oramiriukwa River

3. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

I have notify of this project on the Wikimedia Community and Wikimedian Hub Owerri

4. How will you let participants know about the photowalk? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Messaging App: WhatsApp

5. What is the plan to ensure images will be used on Wikimedia projects?

Wikimedia hub, Owerri imo state is a new hub domiciled in the said location to ensure the representation of content specific to the state on Wikimedia projects. Thus, there will be future edit-a-thons to close the existing knowledge gap on this area and as such, will require images produced from this project. Aside this, the images will be used on the existing articles on En-Wikipedia.

6. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Participants do not have the camera for this project. Therefore we will rent 2 cameras for the participants. Participants will also be tutored on good photography before onset of project.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

This project will serve a great deal to close the existing gap on Rivers and lakes found in imo state on wikimedia commons and Wikipedia.

8. Are you running any in-person events or activities? If so, you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below:
