Dear applicant,

Your proposal has advanced to the next review stage. In this stage, the Grant Administrators will assess your funding eligibility based on US regulations and Wikimedia Foundation grant-making policies.

Actions required from you
If you are a new applicant
  • Review the required information and documents by visiting the Required information and documents[1] page.
  • Update required information. Login to the Grantee Portal (Fluxx)[2]. Navigate to "My User Info" and/or "My Organization Info" sections. Click "Edit" to update your information.
  • Upload required documents: Click the upload button (+ sign) in the "Documents" section to add new files.

Please ensure to provide or upload the following:

  • Mailing and email addresses
  • Non-expired identification document (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Bank account information form (account must support international transfers)
  • Bank account verification (confirmation from your bank)
  • Document from your bank showing who has access to the bank account. This can be in the form of a bank letter signed by a bank representative, a recent bank statement with account holder names listed, or the signed bank account contract.
  • Organization nonprofit verification (if applicable)
  • Identification documents of grant co-signatories and joint bank account details (for group applications)

If you submit required documentation in your native language, please also upload a second version translated into English for staff review. Note that we use DocuSign to electronically sign grant agreements.

If you have previously received a grant from us
  • As noted in the submission confirmation email, you must ensure that all required information is current and accurate. If you haven’t completed this step yet, please update the requested information and documents[3] in the “My User Info” and/or “My Organization Info” sections of the Grantee Portal.

(if you have a fiscal sponsor)

Because you have a fiscal sponsor:
  • You may notify your Fiscal Sponsor organization that your grant request has been advanced to the next stage.
  • Note that there should not be any conflict of interest between you and the fiscal organization. For example, you cannot be a contractor at the fiscal organization.
