Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? Overall, we were very happy with how the project went. We managed to get a lot of submissions, honestly more than we anticipated due to the current COVID-19 crisis.
Please report on your original project targets.
|20 participants per photowalk.
|25 active and known participants.
|The volunteers who reached out through our calls for participation amounted to 25 in total.
|we were pleased to receive more than triple the number of expected submissions.
Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well? We introduced a lot of new contributors to the community which was really a major milestone for us. We also managed to get a lot more media content than we expected which was quite impressive, it being our first time participating. People bonded and shared ideas.
- What did not work so well? There were some participants who reserved tickets for the photo-walks but did not communicate afterwards. There was a lot of back and forth with this. The COVID-19 also proved to be a challenge due to the limitation in social gatherings. It also became a challenge planning the logistics for people individually as opposed to a group; of which was the norm.
- What would you do differently next time? I will confirm with the participants early enough to avoid having participants cancelling on the last minute or not showing up entirely.
