Goals[edit]
Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? Yes we are happy because we have come to see how powerful of a tool Feminisim and Folklore has been through out the execution of the campaign especially to create partnerships with women museums. It brought us closer to media contacts who were eager to promote our content on their website.

We were successful in partnering with over 30 wikimedia groups, 5 media institutions and one cultural institution. Women History Museums from Zambia. We created 3 toolkits and videos for the Wikimedia Commons and Folklore. | Our WIR provided hands on support over video conferring, email and Telegram chat with our partners over the span of last 6 months ensuring that the communication was smooth for any support the partner affiliates and organizations needed for organizing and promoting local events.

- What worked well?
We made partnerships, affiliates and non -affiliates this user groups, language community, media groups, and held various discussions with Women History Museums from Zambia.
This project will covered important gaps in indigenous knowledge that are being left out. It will allow people and partnership opportunities and space to collect, document, and make that knowledge freely available with free licenses that can be used for educational and research later.
To expand the network to partner with the cultural institutions internationally and support the local Wikimedia Affiliates who wish to collaborate with those local cultural institutions for photo hunts and content partnerships, from the local museums, cultural bodies to media partners.

As a topping to our efforts, read the blog on Wiki Loves Folklore and Feminism and Folklore and a look at the resource kit we created.
- What did not work so well?
There was a challenge with language since most of the participating countries speak either French and Asian languages. All other language volunteers were not available at the times of the meeting to support since they were engaged with other personal duties. This made it difficult and dragged out meetings since we had to rely on translating apps to communicate with the team from Benin, Mali and Zambia during one of our coordinators meetings.
- What would you do differently next time?
We hope to hire language translators who will assist us during training, webinars and coordinators meetings.
