Chapter 20 of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution provides that: The state shall protect and improve the environment and safeguard the water, air and land, forest and wildlife of Nigeria. This program will be followed by an annual #WikiForHumanRights event. The program will focus on creating quality articles in Hausa Wikipedia which are related to Human Rights especially the Right to a healthy environment which is the topic of the Wiki For Human Rights Campaign 2022.

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:
1. What content will the contest focus on, and why is it important to your community?

The contest is focused on creating articles related to Human Rights especially right to a environment and human rights activists.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

Currently I'm managing WhatsApp groups of Hausa Wikipedia editors and Facebook page, I will let my community know about the project via these social media and I will let them know via Hausa Wikimedians User Group and Hausa Wikipedia Discussion pages.

3. How will you let participants know about the contest? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

They will know about the contest via social media and some via phone call. I will also use Hausa Wikipedia Discussion page.

4. How will you judge the contest and award prizes?
Note: Grantees, judges, and other contest leaders are ineligible to receive prizes. Grantees who are serving as judges may not receive gifts through grant funding.

Five points (2.0) would be awarded for every new article translated

One point (1.0) for every quality source or Citation used in an existing Wikipedia article. Two points (2.0) for quality (includes using the appropriate intonations, grammar etc.) The Outreach Dashboard and the hashtag #Wiki4HumanRights will be used to measure the contributions which will also help us to achieve an excellent Jury procedure. The Prizes will be Smart phone for 1st and second places, power bank for third place. I will also send a branded Wikipedia T-shirts to the top five participants.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

The program will be in two parts, the first part being a workshop that will take place. During the workshop I plans to invite a lawyer and experts on the Nigerian Constitution to talk about Rights to a Healthy environment and experts on Environmental to discuss about environmental and how to make our environment healthier. I will also teach Participants how to create and Improve articles in Hausa Wikipedia.
The second part is the writing contest on Hausa Wikipedia. The Contest will focus on creating and promoting Human Rights articles especially articles related to a Right to healthy environment and human rights activists. The contest will last for four weeks. I will use the Dashboard Tools and the Hashtag for tracking participant's articles. I will also create a landing page where participants can submit their names and articles which they've created. I will use special methods to evaluate the results.

I Gwanki have organized this kind of contest in the last year 2021, the contest went very successful. I also planned to carry out similar project this year.
