1. Recruit new editors : We have been able to recruit new editors throughout the process of hunting the monuments photos

2. Increase skills for existing editors: We have been able to increase the skills of existing editors and they gained experience in the project we were learning especially in researching on the original stories from the communities around the monuments and heritage sites

3. Add or improve content on monuments in RWANDA: We have been able to document different monuments across the country

4.We have been able to maintain retention of our original Local participants as they participated several times willingly with out much of our follow up

Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

some new sites were recovered as compared to last year

  • What did not work so well?

Some sites were not accessible due to covid 19 restrictions that were imposed to visitors to these sites

  • What would you do differently next time?

Seek entry permission to all sites before the contest to avoid the issues of not being able to acess them all
