MediaMOF/Photowalk at South South Nigeria
I am a professional documentary photographer with over 500 quality images from around Nigeria and also participated and organized several Wikimedia photowalks and recently was a grantee to Photowalk at Ondo and Ekiti state project which was very successful as this prompted this new grant to document the south south part of Nigeria. The south south part of Nigeria is a part which hasnt been throughly documented before now but hold very rich culturaal and landmark images of Nigeria, so this project is aimed at primarily taking freely licensed high quality photographs of municipalities and associated landmarks in the 5 south south states (Edo, Rivers, Akwa-ibom, Bayelsa, Delta) in Nigeria which hold great historical landmarks in the history of Nigeria and which most dont have pictures on Wikipedia yet and also organizing a workshop for the region photographers on how to contribute to Wiki commons.
