40 300 https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Wikimedia_User_Group_Rwanda/WIKIGAP_2022_RWANDA_(2022) we aimed at creating 40 articles and 300 were created .
40 editors 26 editors We were not able to hit the target because people who were trained did not get access to laptops yet editing using mobile phones is not easy .

The article creation target was achieved.

The editors target was not reached ,recruited newbies complained about having no acess to laptops.

  • What would you do differently next time?

we hope to either hire laptops or seek partneships to deal with the issue of limited acess to laptops.

Food & beverages 35 $10 $350 This was used to cover the costs for food and beverages on the full day for participants and other organizing team
COVID-Test 35 $7 $245 This was a requirement for people to gather in training.
Branded T-shirts 35 $8 $280 This covered for WikiGap branded T-Shirts. for the participants and organizing team.
Pull up banner 1 $70 $70 It covered the cost for the banner for communication.
Internet data 35 $10 $350 It covered the internet cost for every participant during the contest period.
Transportation 35 $10 $350 This wwas to cover the costs for transportation for WIkiGap participants
Winners Prizes 1 $300 $300 1st Prize ($150), 2nd Prize ($80) & 3rd Prize ($70) - All will be provided in voucher cards & awards
Judges gifts 3 $30 $90 The judges will receive voucher cards for the appreciation.

Remaining funds

$55 This was meant to be used to fix any change in the exchange rate or any additional cost that may come up along the implementation.

The funds remaining from this grant in the amount of US$55 were deducted from another grant payment for Grants:Programs/Wikimedia_Community_Fund/Wikimedia_Community_User_Group_Rwanda_Support_Grant_2022/2023.
